THE MEMORY OF WATER by Shelagh Stephenson. Directed by Colin McPherson

On the eve of their mother's funeral, three sisters meet, bicker and reveal the conflicts of the past, its grip on the present, the patterns and strains of family relationships and the distortions of memory. A rare combination of poignant drama and hilarious comedy, The Memory of Water was first performed in 1996 and transferred to the West End where it won an Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 2000.

This amateur production of The Memory of Water is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd.
