Our April 2026 Production
Trailer for our April Comedy Double Bill!
Our 2026 Spring show will be a double-bill of two sparkling one-act comedies! Shining a light on both the humorous and emotional aspects of single people in search of love.
The Line That’s Picked Up 1000 Babes And What It Can Do For You! by Eric Berlin sees six people in a bar in search of companionship, a one night stand or a life-long relationship. Benny is employing the title handbook while his friend Alan insists that women don't fall for pick up lines. There are surprises for everyone at the bar tonight...
Looking For The One by Sylvia Dow, with original music by Kim Edgar is a mini-musical comedy that highlights the pleasures and perils of dating as a mature grown-up. Three acquaintances, who take the same bus every day, go for a coffee when their bus fails to turn up and end up bonding after realising they are all single. Each week at the pub, they retell stories of their dating lives, from the good, the bad and the downright awful, and share their hopes of still finding ‘the one’.
These wonderful, very funny plays will be onstage at St Ninian’s from April 14th to 18th 2026, and will be directed by John McLinden.
